Perfection takes time
By Mike / 19 October 2015

We are approaching the business end of the renovation now and things are beginning to move on apace. The whole property has been plastered out and the majority has had its first coat of paint. The granite tops are on in the kitchen, the cast iron radiators have arrived, bathroom fittings are going in and the sauna is scheduled for installation in the next couple of weeks!

Now is the time we have to be extra careful to make sure everything goes on/in as planned. Mistakes at this stage can be costly, especially with our first guests due to arrive at the end of November! The furnishings have also been ordered and it is now a balancing act of having those items arrive in time for the incoming guests but not too early that the property still has a lot of work going on internally.

The main work has now been completed and it is all about the finishing touches. If all goes well, we are hoping to be ready to go from mid-November.
